2014 NXT CON Conference Invites Founders of Justin.tv, Reddit, and Disqus as Speakers

Another international technology conference will be held in Indonesia. NXTCON 2014 will be held on 7-8 May 2014 at the Ballroom of Balairung Soesilo Soedarman (Gedung Sapta Pesona) - Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat no. 17 Jakarta. In addition to a number of familiar local speakers, NXT CON 2014 will present a number of foreign speakers from Silicon Valley.

Those who will be speaking at this NXT CON event include Justin Kan (co-founder and CEO of Justin.tv), Steve Huffman (co-founder of Reddit and Hipmunk), Daniel Ha (co-founder and CEO of Disqus), and Tikhon Bernstam. (co-founder of Scribd and Parse). Also speaking were Immad Akhund (co-founder and CEO of Heyzap), Michael Siebel (co-founder of Socialcam, which Autodesk acquired in 2012), and Emmet Shear (co-founder and CTO of Justin.tv, CEO of Kiko).

NXT CON is expected to become an annual event that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, corporations, and the media in two days of activities to talk about technology. In addition to the conference mode, NXT CON tried a new workshop format called Dragon's Den which was inspired by one of the popular television shows. For the Dragon's Den version of NXT CON, there is an opportunity for startup activists to discuss directly with panelists from foreign speakers, investors, local entrepreneurs.

To have the opportunity to take part in the Dragon's Den event, the startup plan that has been submitted has not yet produced and consists of an executive summary, business description, market strategy, competitive analysis, design and development plan, and basic financial analysis. The plan will be sent by email to dragonsden[at]nxtcon.com no later than 20 April 2014. Fifteen selected teams will present their ideas in front of a small panel on 30 April.
