Price comparison platform Telunjuk inaugurated its newest product Compass in version beta, a dashboard e-commerce market insights to facilitate more entrepreneurs online develop their business. This announcement is real already exhaled to DailySocial last year.

Telunjuk Hanindia Narendrata, Co-Founder and CEO, said that many SMEs have not adapted the role of data that actually benefits their business. The supporting data is processed into market insights which can increase sales because it targets the audience and applies the right business strategy.

Business intelligence, which is often associated with the use of data, will actually help businesses monitor company and market conditions by providing data related to historical and current data to analyze problems and plan for the future.

“However, there are still many SMEs who are not aware of their interests because they are considered confusing and choose to continue using the traditional method. Compass took the initiative to help SME players through price fixing, as well as providing an understanding of competition in the industry," said Hanindia in an official statement, Wednesday (5/8).

He continued, “Being within the scope data-driven company makes us have the task of educating business owners on the importance of data for business development so that they are able to adapt to such rapid technological developments.”

Compass is expected to help SMEs in Indonesia. According to BPS, there are 64,2 million SME units, but only 13% of them have go digital. In Compass, users can see online market sharing data summarized from four players E-commerce namely Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Shopee, and JD.id, price monitoring, placement health checkand monitoring promotion.

"In the future, we will take big steps to introduce the use of data to a wider market and attract at least 70 thousand SMEs by the end of this year, including through collaboration with various parties," he concluded.

Telunjuk was founded in 2012, and has assisted 3 million shoppers every month to shop on more than 65 platforms E-commerce and marketplace in Indonesia with 140 million selected products from various categories.
