Telunjuk Acquired by PT Diamond Food Indonesia's Subsidiary

Acquired 81% shares of Telunjuk; as part of a strategy to increase product distribution in e-commerce and digital transformation

PT Diamond Food Indonesia Tbk. (Diamond) as one of the FMCG companies in Indonesia officially announced that it has acquired PT Telunjuk Computing (Telunjuk). In the disclosure of information, it was stated that as of December 21, 2021 through the Company's subsidiary, namely PT Sukanda Djaya, they had signed a conditional share purchase agreement for 81% of Telunjuk' shares directly.

The acquisition of Telunjuk is expected to bridge Diamond's strategy to increase product distribution in the channel E-commerce and perform digital transformation. Founded in 1974, Diamond manufactures and markets a wide range of fresh instant food and beverage products. Starting from milk, juice, cheese, ice cream, and others.

Founded in 2012, Telunjuk is present as a platform for recommending and comparing product prices in Indonesia E-commerce. But over time, they had a business model targeting the B2B segment. On one occasion interview with DailySocial.id, Co-Founder & CEO of Telunjuk Hanindia Narendrata said that in this way the company claims to be able to earn enough profit to run the company.

"Initially we got an offer from brand large who want to see price estimates on various platforms E-commerce existing in Indonesia.
