TaniFund officially announced its collaboration with Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) in its efforts to support the absorption of financing in the agriculture and food sector. The Cooperation Agreement between the two was signed on Friday, February 26, 2021, which at the same time gave birth to an important point, that as of March 2021, farmer partners and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) assisted by TaniFund can apply for funding.

In the agreement, BRI disbursed funds of Rp. 200 billion through TaniFund. The nominal is quite large and the appointment of TaniFund is not without consideration considering that TaniFund is P2P Agritech lending with the highest growth in the last semester (44.77%), TaniFund is optimistic to become a P2P Lending with market share largest in Indonesia through credit disbursement 600% larger than the previous year.

TaniFund Commissioner Pamitra Wineka said, "We believe that the support provided by BRI for TaniFund can further strengthen the confidence of the general public to be involved in improving the welfare of Indonesian farmers and MSMEs."

"In the future, we hope to reach more farmers and MSMEs in this country so that our dream, Agriculture for Everyone, can be realized," said Pamitra, who also serves as President of TaniHub Group.

TaniFund has been active in the P2P Lending sector since 2017 and has succeeded in distributing financing to fostered farmers of Rp195,83 billion. This achievement led to a 20% increase in production involving no less than 2.700 fostered farmers.

Not only that, TaniFund's enthusiasm in increasing financial inclusion can be seen in the general increase in the income of its fostered farmers by 25% with bank account ownership reaching 100%.
