T-Bike Solution Telkomsel Partnering with Famous Motorcycle Brands

This year Telkomsel target 500.000 customers for M2M solutions

After Telkomsel succeeded in presenting T-Bike, one of the M2M solutions (machine to machine) some time ago, now Telkomsel intends to try the solution in several motorcycle brands such as Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, and from European manufacturers such as Vespa, Aprillia, BMW, MV Agusta and others. T-Bike itself is known as a service that is equipped with several excellent features such as Find My Bike, Tracking, Engine On/Off, and also Geo Fence.

Find My Bike, one of the features in the T-BIKE service, allows users to search for the location of a motorcycle, while the tracking feature is designed to allow tracking of the vehicle's location complete with address and coordinates.

Two other excellent features, namely Engine On/Off and Geo Fence, are designed to provide extra security. Geo Fence, for example, works to provide a warning about the maximum speed limit when driving.

Vice President of M2M Business Telkomsel Jaka Susanta says:

"Telkomsel offers innovative T-Bike technology that is present as the best digital solution for motorcycle riding. By using the T-Bike application on these 17 motorcycle brands, we want to show that T-Bike can be easily and conveniently used on all types and brands of motorcycles.”

In addition to some of the superior features above, the T-Bike is also claimed to have advantages in terms of fast installation. In fact, for its performance, the T-Bike was awarded several awards from several institutions such as MURI, Motor Plus, and Forwot (Automotive Journalists Forum).

Jaka added that currently T-Bike services have been used by a number of companies to support their work operations, such as KFC, Berrybenka, Wingstop, Carl's Jr., Bakmi GM, Domino Pizza, Hoka-Hoka Bento, McDonald's and several partners. reseller motorcycles such as RTX and Bintang Motor.

Party Telkomsel himself hopes that the use of this T-Bike service can encourage good driving behavior in all circles of society and also support efforts to improve driving order with special features for riders and monitors that are integrated with each other.

Furthermore, Jaka explained that actually T-Bike is a continuation of road map first introduced T-Drive service Telkomsel for the mode of transportation of four-wheeled vehicles, which operate by using Telkomsel Driving Analytics in the form of OBD (On-board Diagnostic Device) GPS Tracking which can be easily installed on the vehicle.

Meanwhile like quoted from Selular.id, Jaka expressed optimism Telkomsel in this M2M market. Even though it's not that crowded right now, with the potential of technology internet of things which continues to grow M2M solutions will be the solutions that companies are looking for.

“Over the past year or so, we have succeeded in attracting more than 135 companies to use the M2M solutions that have been developed Telkomsel create. Of the 135 companies, there are at least around 100 thousand customers who use our M2M services," explained Jaka.

Jaka also added Telkomsel set a target of 500.000 subscribers by the end of this year.
