Sugar Technology Develops Smart Devices for Digital Lifestyle Needs

Sugar Technology is a local startup that develops "everyday lifestyle smart products", namely devices that support daily needs supported by digital technology. Currently the business that is under the auspices PT Avalon Global Technology The company already has three products, namely Smart Padlock, Smart Tumblr and Mate Fit.

Smart Padlock is a padlock with a fingerprint based unlock. The shape is still made like an ordinary lock, but allows the user not to have to carry it everywhere pintu when you want to lock and unlock it. This product has started to be traded through Blibli and JD.id.

One padlock can store 20 record fingerprints for different people. The average battery can last up to 180 days, equipped with materials that are resistant to hot and rainy weather.

"Our vision is to create products that make life easier for everyone by providing everyday lifestyle smart products which they can easily use but also benefit them," the Sugar team told DailySocial.

Sugar's second product is the Smart Tumblr, which is a drink holder equipped with a temperature detector and a drink reminder feature. While their third product is the Smart Band, a smart watch that has an elegant material design that is equipped with payment features, including for TransJakarta or MRT payments. However, these two products have not yet started to be marketed.

This startup was founded by Andy G., currently for their operations they still rely on their own funds or bootstrapped. In 2019, Sugar targets to commercialize at least 10 products with various variants. In the future, several products will be launched, such as Smart Electric Motor and Smart Luggage. It is expected to be introduced to the public at the end of the year.
