Strengthening the Developer Ecosystem in Medan City to Meet Local Application Needs

INA 4.0 embraces Medan developers to increase innovation in making local applications

Samsung is still trying to encourage the growth of the local application ecosystem in Indonesia. Therefore, through the Indonesia Next Apps (INA) 4.0 event, Samsung embraces the community developer Homeland in order to give birth to innovations in Indonesia platform latest. At its peak, the 20 best applications will compete in the final event in Jakarta and compete for a total prize of more than 600 million rupiah.

Before getting these 20 applications, INA 4.0 will first conduct a series of applications roadshow in eight Indonesian cities including Medan. Through workshop activities, Medan IT innovators had the opportunity to find out in depth about Samsung technology and its implementation on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Hotel Santika Premier.

With the development of technology and digital in the city of Medan, it is appropriate if Samsung embraces developers to create innovations in the realm of technology. There is also OnanOnan (e-commerce that provides fashion products, accessories to food from Medan), Unclekick (a news site that presents various information for urban communities in the city of Medan), Avokado (a mobile application that can provide recommendations for the best places to eat in Medan) and ValvoOnline (an e-commerce site that provides various products, vouchers and discount information in the city of Medan).

In addition, Medan has now begun to develop the Medan Smart City program as a form of implementing the smart city concept by utilizing technology and communication. Samsung opened five main sessions in the INA 4.0 Workshop, namely: Tizen Apps Development, Tizen Wearable Development, Gear VR, Samsung Galaxy SDK and Samsung DeX.
