Startup Saas digital bookkeeping Delegation reportedly received initial funding (seed) with BEENEXT become one of the investors in this round. The delegate is one of the participants in Y Combinator batch S22.

Delegation is a SaaS startup in the accounting field. Originating from Bandung, this platform was founded by three ITB graduates, namely Adrian Maulana, Ansorimuslim (Ans) Syuhada, and Yudha Okky Pratama.

Quoting from various sources, founder seeks to overcome classic problems that are often experienced by business owners, such as limited human resources and lack of knowledge of accounting. From the survey they conducted, many business owners have been paying subscription fees for this kind of solution for a year, but stopped in the first 1-2 months. According to respondents, the existing accounting software is considered too complex for those who do not have knowledge on this matter.

This startup develops virtual financial assistant AI-based that can help F&B business owners to do financial records. Business owners simply upload receipts, such as shopping receipts, account mutations, and inventory taking via Telegram.

The system will input, record, and analyze which produces three types of financial statements, namely profit and loss, cash flow, and balance sheet. This solution is claimed to be three times more affordable, so business owners can focus on operations and not have to hire employees.

Currently, MSME actors have many options that can help them facilitate operational activities. There have been many startups in Indonesia that have developed products, such as digital financial records, cloud, to POS.

This figure is still far from the target of 30 million MSMEs. go digital in 2024. Meanwhile, the total turnover of MSMEs that have gone digital has reached Rp500 trillion-Rp600 trillion.
