Sirclo Plans to Launch New Products and Add "Fulfilment Center"

Already have 1000 paid customers, now starting to target the fashion business line

Entering 2019, a solution provider technology company E-commerce Sirclo plans to launch its newest product which is claimed to be able to bridge the needs of clients from SMEs to big businesses. Having previously released Sirclo Store and Sirclo Commerce, it is hoped that this new product can be launched around the second quarter of 2019.

In particular, Sirclo CEO Brian Marshal said that currently many of Sirclo's SME clients are only limited to using the site, while clients from large companies have already taken advantage of the service. end-to-end integrated from Sirclo, it has technology that is able to connect them with marketplace.

"Actually inside end-to-end service these, we have technology that is able to connect to marketplace. We initially used this technology in-house. The target in the near future we want to launch it as a separate product," said Brian.

Still in the testing process, Brian and his team wanted to make sure the product was ready for launch. Later, SMEs can also take advantage of this technology by operating independently with technology that directly connects to their customers marketplace.

Focus on new business lines

Since its launch in mid-2018, sirclo Store, which is a SaaS service for creating online store sites targeting small and medium-sized local businesses, has experienced a significant increase. In 2019, Sirclo plans to focus on improving the user experience by simplifying the UI/UX display.

In addition, Sirclo also wants to focus on data use by maximizing the use of the client's own site to be able to more easily learn and obtain data. This is considered to be more beneficial than using the technology provided by the company marketplace most of the detailed data cannot be obtained by the client.

"That then becomes our job as a platform to be able to facilitate many features that can manage that data for Sirclo clients," said Brian.

Regarding Sirclo Commerce, in 2019, Sirclo still continues to focus on core strength they are FMCG. However, to expand its business, Sirclo plans to add a new line, namely fashion. Currently Sirclo claims to have brand big fashion like Eiger to Levi's.

"We will also continue to develop technology automation. According to our background as e-commerce enablers which starts from technology not logistics as many do E-commerce to e-commerce enablers others," said Brian.

Overall Sirclo currently has around 1000 paying customers and 40 clients representing around 150 brand. This number is expected to continue to increase. Sirclo also has ambitions to become a leading player in the global market. In the local market, Sirclo claims to be number one, beating other competitors in Indonesia.

Expansion fulfillment center

Another plan that Sirclo is also exploring is to increase the number fulfillment center in Indonesia. Currently, apart from BSD, Sirclo also has warehouses in Central Jakarta, Yogyakarta and Bandung. Furthermore, Sirclo also has plans to add fulfillment center in other big cities.

One of the reasons why Sirclo focuses on increasing the number of warehouses is to make it easier for clients to provide fast and well-organized service and delivery of goods.

"In the future I see the trend of shipping is no longer more than 1-2 days delivered, but already same-day delivery take advantage of the service on-demand like Go-Jek and Grab. That's where Sirclo can help the process go smoother by leveraging fulfillment center more dispersed. Not only at one point, but other points that are considered to have potential as fulfillment center," said Brian.

Asked whether Sirclo plans to return to fundraising, Brian revealed that he has plans to do so fundraising This year. Although reluctant to mention which investors will be involved in the fundraising, Brian emphasized that he is currently in the process of exploring with several investors. Previously, Sirclo had secured Series B funding.

"We always try to build a good relationship long term with our investors, including East Ventures and Sinar Mas, they have always supported us at all stages of Sirclo's fundraising," said Brian.
