Tokopedia's New Features Allow Sellers to Create Promos and Earn Upfront Money

Priority Balance offers advance payment for sellers by simply entering the shipping receipt number. This new feature is claimed to be an industry first E-commerce Indonesia. The launch initiative was based on the time gap between order receipt and order fulfillment by sellers.

This feature will only be active for sales partners who have completed personal data, including uploading photos and identity cards.

"By getting an upfront payment, sellers can use the money to accelerate the turnover of their business capital," said Head of Fintech Tokopedia, Samuel Sentana.

While the Store Voucher feature allows sellers to create codes voucher its own promotions, such as cashback and discounted shipping costs for every buyer on Tokopedia. Two voucher This can be a way for sellers to reach more buyers.

Promotion fees made through Shop Vouchers will be charged to the seller. To use the Store Voucher, the seller only needs to access the page dashboards through the computer and select the Store Voucher menu.

Since its launch in early November 2018, features Shop Vouchers called getting a positive response from sellers and buyers at Tokopedia. Currently, there are more than 30.000 sellers who take advantage of this feature.

"With this feature, sellers can offer more promotions for customers and reach buyers who are still outside the Tokopedia platform by distributing information voucher shop on various social networks, apps chatting, even include the shop voucher code on flyers or in front of their physical store cashiers,” explained Tokopedia's Associate VP Seller Experience, Garri Juanda.
