The Sidebeep Application Makes It Easy for Consumers to Find Curated Services

Plan city expansion and improve the app with the latest technology

Looking for quality and reliable services is often difficult to find, usually relying on recommendations from the closest people because it is closely related to the element of trust. Incidents like this are not only experienced by a handful of people, almost everyone including the Founder and CEO of Sidebeep Henry Sutioso. Sidebeep's business model is quite simple, bringing together multiple service providers in one place. There are several categories of services available, ranging from tattoo artists, custom motorcycle, premium sneakers laundry, mobile spa, premium waterless carwash home service, make up artist, trip organizer, repair gadgets, fashion & accessories repair, and much more.

Sidebeep CMO Yogi Apriandi explained that in presenting this service provider, it had gone through a curation process. Starting from checking the administrative data of prospective providers online, the process interview via telephone to find out in more detail the experience of the provider in providing its services. Asking how long it has been in, how many transactions have been generated, to its customers.

"In the final stage, there is a survey to the location of the service provider whether it is in accordance with the standard or not. The point is that every service provider in Sidebeep must be really professional. Whether it's a personal service or a brand," Yogi explained to DailySocial.

He said that currently there are approximately 100 service providers who have joined Sidebeep, the majority of whom are located in Jakarta. Meanwhile, the total number of users to date is approximately 10.000 since it was first publicly released in November 2018.

"Lots user feel satisfied with our service because they really don't have to bother coming to o for just a repair, or laundry. Although there are some who are still not satisfied, this actually makes us more enthusiastic to innovate."

This year's plan

Yogi continued that throughout this year Sidebeep will start expanding to various big cities outside Jakarta, due to the rapid development of lifestyle. Plus the desire to contribute to more people. In terms of technology will also continue to be refined. We want to ensure the best experience when selling or ordering services.

Each category available in the Sidebeep application will be designed according to their respective characteristics. The reason is, a person's experience in selling or buying a service will be different in each category. For now, Sidebeep can only be accessed via desktop and Android.

"It will be different if you order services from tattoo artists by ordering services trip organizer. Or order the services of a beauty salon by ordering services sneaker laundry. This is what we will prioritize to develop this year."

In addition, the company is planning to monetize its business. There will be paid features that can be obtained by service providers through a subscription system. The presence of this feature will certainly be different from the usual features obtained for free in the application. Consumers will guarantee more benefits than costs.

So far, Sidebeep has received funding from angel investors with details not mentioned by Yogi. There are plans to get funding at a further stage, of course. But Yogi said, when the product has really reached the level market fit and progress which continues to increase, it is hoped that by the end of this year investors will be able to see.
