DailySocial.id interview with the co-founder of Diri Care to discuss their next product and business plan

The large opportunity for market share for personal care products has not been accompanied by relevant services at affordable prices. From this opportunity, Self Care here to offer personalized healthcare solutions on demand (On-demand) and affordable to customers throughout Indonesia. The target is for female and male consumers at the same time.

To DailySocial.id, Self Care Co-Founder & CEO Christian Suwarna revealed, in accordance with their mission and vision from the start, by combining medical science and technology, Diri Care wants to open access to affordable care services for all.

"Since we launched, there have been several customers from Papua to Medan who fall into the category blank spot in terms of providing clinics for self-care. Through Diri Care, various care products and services can be enjoyed by all."

Services offered

In particular, Diri Care offers consulting services and products that have been curated and customized for customer needs by the team. Through a free consultation with the doctor directly, later recommendations will be given to what drug or product is appropriate. For drug delivery, it is also sent directly by partners beg most of which are partners who already have a license as a Health Service Facility.

"With the experience of our Co-founder, Dr. Deviana Himawan, product recommendations are then formulated by the team. It is ensured that all have received directions from doctors and pharmacists to provide the right solution and all can be accounted for," said Christian.

Customers who have complaints about skin, hair and personal health conditions such as acne, dark spots, skin aging, hair loss, male performance anxiety, and more, can now connect to Self Care's 24/7 virtual support, to get effective treatment at affordable prices.

Self Care does not charge a fee for consulting services to doctors. The hope is that this option can provide wider access to users who need consulting services.

"We have an innovative business model, which is vertically integrated, end-to-end with customers. Reflecting on the lack of customer experience seamless pattern, we try to combine the service aspects, namely medical consultation with doctors and treatment products into a single unit, in accordance with our mission to create high quality access self care to make it easier and more affordable," said Self Care COO Armand Amadeus.

To provide comprehensive services, Diri Care also presents On Going Care for customers. Thus all complaints and questions can be accessed at any time by customers related to their self-care. On Going Care is claimed to be the initial innovative design of the company.

"Self Care is the first platform to offer affordable access for self-care. We do not feel that these services and products are only for women or men. Like Bank Jago, which digitized banks offline and Ruangguru digitizing tutoring places, Diri Care wants to digitize self-care clinics offline, now everyone can enjoy the service online online, said Christian.

Apart from Diri Care, platforms that offer similar services include Base, SYCA, Callista, and several others.
