A number of Jagofon's Strategic Plans After Collecting Follow-Up Investments from Angel Investors

Jagofon already has 45 partners and 50 thousand users; new to serve Jakarta and Bandung market

Jagofon, platform marketplacegadgets Bekas (preloved) managed to raise initial funding of $549 thousand or the equivalent of 8 billion Rupiah. The investment round was attended by a number of individual investors, including Antoine de Carbonnel (CMO Gojek), Gregoire Dumoulin (CEO of Bak2 Group), and Pascal Viguie. Previously the company had pocketed funding pre seed worth $254 thousand from other individual investors.

2022 this good phone is exploring the next round of funding to venture capitalists. It is targeted that by the end of this year it could raise funds of up to $2 million.

"With these fresh funds, we want to expand in other cities in Indonesia. Although currently Jakarta is still the main focus and is starting to expand to Bandung, our target is to be able to reach all over Indonesia," said Founder & CEO of Jagofon Stéphane Becquart to DailySocial.id.

Launched at the beginning of the 2020 pandemic, Jagofon had experienced growth bottlenecks, due to the difficulty of finding distributors and other related partners. However, the condition has improved, a number of plans have been prepared to accelerate business growth.

"In terms of technology, we also want to apply machine learning fundartificial intelligence. The hope is that by utilizing the data we collect, we can provide the right recommendations to users and predict sales second hand gadgets and pre-loved to partners," said Stéphane.

Develop integrated logistics solutions

Currently good phone claims to have around 45 partners and more than 50 thousand users. To provide even better services, Jagofon is currently integrating with several logistics platforms in Indonesia.

"We are partnering with Indonesian logistics solutions, later an aggregator process will be carried out with several companies. For example Gojek and Grab for Jakarta and JNE areas outside the city. All will be connected with backend. We will also provide notifications to users regarding the location of the delivery of goods," said Stéphane.

On the payment side, Jagofon has also started to present choice paylater collaborate with Kredivo, Akulaku, and Cicil.co.id. Apart from that they also provide payment options split-payment, buyers can combine cash payment options, installments, and more.
