Seekmi Books Million Dollar Series A Funding

Six venture capitalists are involved in Seekmi's series A funding which is planned to be used for product development and expansion of operational areas

Today (25/5) marketplace Seekmi services announced that it has booked a multi-million dollar series A funding from six investors. Seekmi's series A funding was led by CyberAgent Ventures, followed by Ventek Ventures, Convergence Ventures, Kinara, Grupara, and Balancop. The plan is that the newly acquired fresh funds will be allocated for product development, talent recruitment, and expansion of operational areas outside Jabodetabek.

CEO Seekmi Nayoko Wicaksono said, “Marketplace services are a great local business.[…] This new funding allows us to strengthen our advantage in the Indonesian market and further enhance our business. product experience which is good for both users and vendors.”

“We will allocate a large amount of funds for technological excellence through R&D (research and development). We will develop our IT team and recruit engineer best to make Seekmi more intelligent, responsiveand reliable,” said Seekmi COO Clarissa Leung added.

Seekmi is service marketplace services initiated in early 2015 by Nayoko Wicaksono and Clarissa Leung.
