To the media, Samsung Electronics Indonesia's Head of Product Marketing IT and Mobile Denny Galant claimed that the presence of Samsung Pay had previously been welcomed in various countries. In Indonesia, Samsung Pay collaborates with Dana and GoPay which are considered to have positioning powerful and popular e-wallet platform in Indonesia.

For other series, you can also take advantage of Samsung Pay by downloading the application, as long as the OS version of the smartphone is Android Pie. Samsung Pay only serves as an access, not an electronic wallet issued by Samsung.

Samsung itself currently claims to own 70% market share for the premium series. This amount can be used by Dana and GoPay to expand services while increasing the number of users. For now, Samsung Pay with Funds can already be enjoyed by users, while for GoPay, it can only be launched in early 2020.
