Having been replaced by his position, Reynazran Royono is back as CEO of Snapcart

Reasoning to focus on product development, Reynazran Royono who is the Founder Snapcart had left his position as CEO for several months. The position was later replaced by Teresa Condicion, previously serving as Chief Data Officer (CDO) at Snapcart for more than 3 years.

At the end of September 2019, Reynazran again took over as CEO. This structural change coincided with Teresa's departure from Snapcart. No further reasons for his resignation were stated.

To DailySocial Reynazran said that it became more difficult for him to be able to accelerate growth and develop products while serving as CEO. For this reason, the position of CEO had to be abandoned for a moment.

He emphasized that the restructuring of when he oversees products has resulted in Snapcart's ability to fully automate technology, receipt processing speed is now only seconds compared to hours, with a much higher level of accuracy. This allows the company to have much better efficiency in its operations.

"Next focus Snapcart is in the commercialization of services on an ongoing basis real-time, to push products that serve not only market research, but also other profitable sectors such as marketing, loyalty, and promotions. Restructuring decision in favor of product development

Even though it doesn't give an official release when its replaced, but in the page Medium Personally, Reynazran gave a number of reasons why he made a somewhat unique decision to temporarily step down from the CEO position. One of them is to focus on one thing, namely development and innovation.

"As CEO, I have to oversee all functions at once, looking at the whole instead of focusing on one part. As the face of the company I also need to take on a variety of non-operational responsibilities such as fundraising and external relations, all of which take up a lot of time and resources. I can function effectively as one of them, but I can't do both. At a crucial time like this, it makes perfect sense for me to lead the product thinking for Snapcart."

Selection of Teresa as her replacement to serve as CEO was also not an easy thing. Reynazran saw that her profile and experience and background were the most ideal to temporarily lead Snapcart.

Previously Reynazran had also conveyed number of targets to achieve throughout 2019. Among them is developing technology by increasing automation capabilities. Later it is hoped that the ability to processing data could be faster. From what previously took about a week, in the future it is expected to be within 3 days.

The next priority is to prepare the technology to help clients with attribution. Snapcart wants to take advantage of the data it has so that it can be used to help related parties, such as the financial sector, government, to health.
