Lawble's "Regtech" Service Announces Its Presence

Targeting law firms and colleges to become paying customers

After having done socialization, startups targeting regulatory technology(regtech) Lawble, finally inaugurated its presence in Jakarta (28/09). The startup led by Charya Rabindra Lukman as CEO, under the auspices of PT Karya Digital Nusantara, has a vision to help law firms, businesses and the general public seek and understand legal and regulatory issues more deeply.

"Lawble as a site regtech first in Indonesia, realizing that there are still many businesses and the general public who have difficulty finding regulations or laws issued by the government. In one site, all of this information can be easily found," said Charya.

Regtech Until now, its existence has not been maximized in Indonesia, the weak awareness of the Indonesian people to understand and understand the law is one of the reasons for the lack of these services. Compared to Malaysia and Singapore, Indonesia is among the lagging behind in providing services regtech to the public.

"After the presence of GO-JEK, Traveloka and Tokopedia, we see the role of regtech provide a new platform for business people so that startup players understand in more detail legal issues," said Charya.

Continued by Charya, after hearing questions from colleagues who want to establish a startup and have foreign labor partners, find it difficult to find a way or how to determine the right regulations.

Be equipped tools useful for legal practitioners and the public

Presence Lawble will not replace the role of legal practitioners, on the contrary Lawble facilitates and supports their work more effectively and efficiently and saves more than 70% of time than usual.

"With the various features we have from search (search) until bookmark related to the article being sought, the search for regulations becomes easier and faster," said Charya.

Lawble also replaces the public habit of legal practitioners using paper to print existing regulations, with a marker feature up to sticky notes on the site and Mobile browser.

"In addition, with the Lawble Collaboration Tool, practitioners can enjoy communication features when doing work or projects, no need to use an application anymore chat separated," said Charya.

Lawble is also equipped with the Lawble Journal, which is full of information to the latest news related to regulations to regulations issued by the government, interviews with experts to legal practitioners.

"Lawble is also directly connected to a special association of the legal industry named Indonesian Regtech and Legaltech Association (Indonesian Regtech and Legaltech Association / IRLA), Privy.id, LegalGo, PopLegal, Startup Legal Clinic, and eClis.id," said Charya.

Lawble monetization strategy

Currently Lawble is specifically targeting law firms and colleges. Lawble claims to have around 700 law firms registered on its platform. In the first year, Lawble targets 10 users for one Law Firm, with a penetration of 50%. So that around 3500 to 4000 are planned to be acquired again as customers.

Lawble has two categories of services, namely for legal practitioners and the general public. Legal practitioners can access various paid and subscribed collaborations with Lawble. Meanwhile, the public can access all legal products that intersect with daily activities in the Lawble Journal. In the future, Lawble targets to collect around 500 government regulations that can be accessed by the public and legal practitioners.

"In the future, we hope that with adequate legal access, the law will no longer be seen as something complicated, but will become a partner in daily activities," said Charya.
