Ready for Sellers from Indonesia: Multiply Prepares Two Shopping Cart Models

Launching shopping cart from Multiply it's just a matter of time, this can be seen from survey by David Hersh, admin Multiply Sellers.

After before Multilpy conducted a survey on sellers from Indonesia about banks from Indonesia what is the most popular or most often used by sellers from Indonesia, now they are back to conducting a survey to determine the shape of the model shopping cart like what they will apply to marketplace from Multiply.

Multiply offers two solutions for models shopping cart, The Inventory Model and The Invoice Model. The Inventory Model is a model shopping cart the point is that the whole transaction takes place without the intervention of the seller at all. So for example a buyer stops by your 'store', he sees a product, buys by adding it to his shopping cartthey then do checkout. The seller will get a notification of the order and then fulfill the request.

From this model later Multiply will do check on the warehouse stock of your sale after previously the seller notifies the amount of stock available. When all items have been sold, Multiply will later 'hide' the product from the existing list before the seller adds stock.

For this model, Multiply is still conducting a survey to determine whether the inventory management will be handled by Multiply or by the seller or there is an option for both.

As for the second model, The Invoice Model, it is intended for salespeople who sell services that are not finished goods and do not have stock, for example, sellers who offer cake-making services to order. In this model Multiply will not provide 'add to cart' button but will provide button called 'place orders' or 'inquire'.

So later the buyer will be directed to here which will be filled in by the buyer and become information material for the seller in making an order. Form This custom will be 'bound' to a specific bespoke theme making it easier to track. After all the order deals are completed, there will be link specially for making invoice, then directed to the buyer's shopping cart, the next process is like in the Inventory Model. This second model may also be used for sellers who carry out a trading system with the system pre-order.

Until now, Multiply is still conducting surveys on sellers in Indonesia marketplace Multiply and of course the concept can still change according to the needs of the seller who is the central point of service marketplace But it looks like the model that will be run later will not be much different from the two models above.

One of the obstacles of Multiply is that outsiders cannot comment directly, so you must be registered with the service, which means that selling on Multiply is only limited to the community there, outside buyers can see the goods but cannot comment directly or To do post on a certain seller's page, will this also have an effect on shopping cart which exists? If so, it might create a separate obstacle for the seller.

But apart from that, I myself am very interested in models shopping cart from Multiply, and want to see the impact on the world of buying and selling via the internet, especially in Indonesia is one of the largest share from Multiply.

What do you think, of the two models above, which one is the most suitable for the internet buying and selling ecosystem in Indonesia? If it is launched by Multiply, will it have a big impact on Multiply users in Indonesia? What is your opinion?
