Recently, we have heard about leading startups on the stock exchange, for example, Bukalapak and GoTo, which have been widely discussed by various parties.

In April 2022, Grab announced its plan to go public through the SPAC merger with blank check company Altimeter Growth Corp which has been listed on the local stock exchange since October 2020. 8 months later, on the 2nd to be exact, Grab Holdings Inc. officially listed on the stock exchange United States, NASDAQ. 

This success makes Grab as the first company in Southeast Asia to successfully floor on the NASDAQ with a SPAC. This momentum was also celebrated by Anthony Tan, always the CEO and Co-Founder Grab by performing a ceremonial bell pressing ceremony in Singapore. 

Reportedly, from this IPO fresh funds were collected with a total of  US$ 4,5 billion or around Rp 64 trillion, with a market valuation of US$ 39,6 billion or equivalent to Rp 578,4 trillion.
