Global "Quick Commerce" Business Is Shocked, What About Local Players?
Analyzing the potential for developing quick commerce services in Indonesia
Bad news coming from startup quick commerce in various countries. Massive staff cuts, closures dark store (fulfillment and distribution infrastructure), discontinuation of business in certain areas, to the termination of related startups are in the spotlight of many media. Startups affected include those who already have big names, namely Gopuff, Zapp, Yango Deli, Gorillas, Geitr, Deliveroo, and several others.
In Indonesia itself, the era of quick commerce it's just started. All the existing players are just entering their first year. However, from an industrial point of view, the response was extraordinary.
