Platform "TapFeedback" Pivot Becomes "Quesio", Aiming at Students and Researchers

Questionnaire is here to answer students' needs for research activities, theses, and theses

Increasing digital penetration encourages business owners or companies to want to understand their consumer behavior, one of which is through surveys. Now the emergence of local online survey platforms is starting to fill a lot of markets which so far have relied a lot on similar platforms from outside. Some of them are Jakpat, Populixand tSurvey.

In recent years, the consulting firm for market research CX-Go is currently preparing digital products that can answer the above needs. At the end of 2019, CX-Go developed a feedback platform customer named TapFeedback targeting the industry hospitality, especially F&B.

However, project This failed to continue due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Many eateries are closed due to social distancing policies. Do not want to linger, CX-Go immediately pivot to work on Questions by duplicating the basic concept of TapFeedback, which is an online questionnaire.

In a brief chat with DailySocial, Founder and Managing Director of CX-Go Ditto Priyawardhana realized that the online questionnaire platform was controlled by a Google derivative product, namely Google Form. Many use it for free reasons. If you look at the competition map, there are also similar platforms, such as Typeform and SurveyMonkey.

"We see an opportunity here because almost 80% of people use Google Forms. Here, we are trying to present another alternative by targeting end-user students who are working on theses, theses or academic research," said Ditto.

Source: Questions

At the beginning of its development, Kuesio was still free. However, his party is trying to present products that the platform has not been able to fulfill so far Existing. One of them is a data processing feature that is designed as a premium feature. With this feature, users no longer need to switch between platforms/applications.

"We see that most platforms don't have the ability for analysis. Usually, raw data is cleaned on other platforms. Quasio can be a platform end-to-end, starting from questionnaires, data collection, cleaning, to statistics. We build feature," he said.

Some of the premium features offered by Kuesio include Descriptive Statistics, Data Filters, Tabulated Data, Data Cleaning, and Answer Choice Coding.

Advanced exploration

So far, the Kuesio platform is claimed to show growth from the user side. However, said Ditto, the development has not been optimal because CX-Go is still bootstrapped or use their own capital.

"So far, the revenue we receive from CX-Go has been used again for the development of Kuesio. The figure may not be significant. However, Kuesio has product market fit. We also ask improvement feedback from user. Currently, we are opening opportunities to find investors so that [Kuesio] can level up," he explained.

His party is also exploring various other possibilities, for example seeking partnerships to further develop the Questionnaire. Currently, Ditto admits that he wants to see future developments to ensure the source of income and monetization is clear. One of them through premium features.

Ditto added, his party was also exploring a product similar to the Kuesio which would be aimed at companies/business owners/brand. This platform will later use a different name.

"At CX-Go, we do a lot of qualitative research. This is strength we. Meanwhile, the Questionnaire is more quantitative where the features are not yet complex. We are learning how to enter the B2B market. There are opportunities that can be explored by going into B2B or paying," he concluded.
