Brendan Rakphongphairoj as one of the people behind Qontak explained to DailySocial that Qontak is a B2B platform. Qontak itself has a goal to help companies and personal business people in doing marketing and sales.

"We provide verified professional business contacts, knowledge and basic information through company or business profiles," said Brendan.

Qontak's story begins with anxiety about the difficulty of making sales in Indonesia, especially opening pintu and relationships over time. One of the factors that make this situation worse is the congestion that occurs throughout the working day in the capital. “We are targeting feedback as many users of the platform as possible, both positive and negative, and trying to educate them about the purpose, usefulness and assistance that this platform can provide,” said Brendan.

Talking about contacts certainly cannot be separated from privacy. For this reason, Qontak is committed to only providing business contact information. Brendan also revealed that their company complied with Singaporean Personal Data Protection Act.

“We hope to reduce or even eliminate the issue of individual privacy that many telecommunications companies have clearly violated. Many people are upset and even angry, we also feel and experience that," said Brendan.

Brendan further explained that Qontak allows people or companies to delete their data in the Qontak system if they do not want their business information to be disseminated. However, according to Brendan, most of the salespeople saw the breakthrough made by Qontak as a positive thing.

"In this way, we also provide flexibility for business people to carry out promotions in a more precise, efficient and structured way compared to the old way, which has many shortcomings," he added.

Qontak tries to give full attention to the accuracy of the data in its services. Qontak maintains the quality of its information by using the Qontak community and technology for the data verification process.

"Most of the data available in the market has not been properly verified. Technology supported by active users will provide detailed verification for each point and category in the available data," said Brendan.

Focus on user acquisition and educating the public
