TADA, Gojek, and Moka Initiates the "Supportlocalbrands" Platform, Helping Retailers Sell Shopping Coupons

Will only run until the end of June 2020, can be purchased via the website or shuffle card in the app Gojek

The widespread impact of the pandemic on all business sectors, tortures business people to rack their brains to ensure their business continues to run. Tada, end-to-end customer retention platform, helped Gojek and Moka created a movement to support local brands or Supportlocalbrands, which has started operating since early April 2020.

This collaboration takes the form of access for the public to buy coupons from local brands at special prices through the application Gojek and website Supportlocalbrands itself. Various coupons offered include food and beverage products, fashion, beauty services, personal health, lifestyle, and hotels.

"Through this movement, both consumers and business owners benefit. Consumers can pre-purchase coupons from hundreds of local brands. These coupons can later be used when services are available or businesses reopen. Meanwhile, business owners can maintain their business with income from the sale of this coupon," explained TADA Managing Director Antonius Taufan to DailySocial, Monday (20/4).

Gojek participate because the solutions initiated by TADA answer the problems that exist in everyday life. The Supportlocalbrands site is now available via shuffle cards inside the app Gojek to make it easier for more customers to access the opportunity.

"This initiative is one of our real efforts to ensure users Gojek benefit from discounted prices from their favorite local brands, as well as helping the business of the nation's children to survive," added the Chief of Corporate Affairs Gojek Nila Marita.

Presence TADA and its initiation in the application Gojek, signifying the addition of participating third-party partners to strengthen its position as great app.

Since soft launch earlier this month, it was stated that the site had already recruited more than a dozen local brands to participate, including those who had become merchant in Mocha.

Co-Founder & CEO of Moka Haryanto Tanjo say, they have already appealed 40 thousand merchantto participate and support the convenience of exchanging coupons. "This collaboration is one of our initiatives to help business actors in facing difficult times," he said.

The existence of this support, he continued, is so needed by business people. Although he did not provide detailed data, Taufan said that some of his retail clients did report that they had cut salaries or laid off employees for a certain period of time in order to maintain .

"For the exact number, sorry we can't mention it, but what is certain for the retail sector, this will have a big impact," said Taufan.

He also said that in making this movement the three companies did not charge any fees for transactions that occurred until June 30, 2020. The total value paid by consumers will be given entirely to the business actors who join.

The plan, this site will be active until that date and buyers can buy until that time. All coupons purchased will have a one-year validity period, so shoppers will have enough time until stores are open again to exchange them.

"In the future, if business actors still want to use the same platform for different programs, then it will be returned according to the policies of the respective platform owners. What is certain is that there will be no attachments during this movement." concluded Taufan.

In order to ensure that transactions run smoothly, TADA continues to strive for traffic to the site the more optimal.
