Achievements and Targets of my Financial Independent Financial Planning Portal

In collaboration with Bareksa for online mutual fund education, in 2017 plans to launch a mobile application

The growth of startups engaged in finance in the 2015-2016 period has experienced a tremendous explosion. Based on data from the Indonesian Fintech Association the figure reaches 78 percent and it was 69 percent higher than the previous year period. Various services began to rise to the surface, both old and new. One of them is Finansialku which provides personal and family financial planning services.

my finances itself has actually been established since the end of 2013, but at that time its form was still in the form of website financial companies that consistently provide education about finance. Melvin Qualified and Alvin Augusto Saputra, who are college friends at Parahyangan Catholic University in Bandung, are the two figures who played a role in initiating this Finansialku service.

Now Finansialku itself has transformed into a financial planning portal with a focus on two main services, Financial Education and Training services with the Finansialku Application service.

Melvin said, “Finansialku is a financial planning portal that provides financial information and education to the public, especially employees, ., entrepreneur, housewives, and students. We share information and education about financial planning, how to manage finances, investments, insurance and so on.”

Furthermore, Melvin explained that there are two service focuses that Finansialku is trying to offer. The first service is Financial Education and Training which is provided both internally and externally online nor offline. The second service is the Finansialku Application which functions to manage and plan personal and family finances.

For the first service, Financial Education and Training, Finansialku itself is currently in the stage of developing training features online with the hope that financial education training can be accessed by all Indonesian people. While for the second service, the Finansialku Application, the Finansialku party is in the stage of strengthening for the version of mobile devices which is scheduled to be released in 2017.

Regarding the monetization of services, Melvin explained that there are charge costs for training online and premium features provided in the Finansialku application.

Achievements in 2016 and collaboration with Bareksa

In 2016 there has indeed been an explosion of fintech services in Indonesia and Melvin himself is aware that currently there are several website fintech in Indonesia that provides a similar service, financial education. Even so, Melvin emphasized that he was reluctant to call them competitors because he saw that each company had different goals.

"Instead of being a competitor, we prefer to work with several fintechs to improve financial literacy," said Melvin.

This step to work together has actually been realized by Finansialku through their collaboration with Bareksa. Melvin explained that Bareksa is now a partner of Finansialku with the aim of introducing the public to mutual fund investment. online.

In addition to cooperation, in 2016 there are also several milestone achieved by Finansialku in terms of service traffic. Melvin revealed that currently Finansialku has succeeded in increasing the number of visits to the service, which is close to hundreds of thousands visitors per month. Meanwhile for application users web based, Melvin revealed that he had reached hundreds of registered users.

Change the logo to emphasize the company's vision and mission

There is one more interesting thing that happened to my Financials in 2016. They (Finansialku –ed), have a new logo for their services. According to Melvin, the purpose of this logo change is to reinforce the vision and mission of Finansialku as a financial planning portal in Indonesia.

Melvin explained that s shaped'chatbox' means discussing something, while the 'F' in the middle represents the letter 'F' which represents the word Finance. Then the yellow color facing the top right indicates a better future and direction.

According to Melvin, his philosophy is the same as the concept of financial planning, namely helping clients to realize financial goals in the future.

Melvin said, “So overall the Finansialku logo means Finansialku will discuss matters about individual and family finances, so that readers can realize their financial goals and have a better financial condition.”

“We [will] continue to make continuous improvements in order to provide the best for the people of Indonesia and customers we. […] In 2017, Finansialku targets to be visited by millions of visitors and [get] thousands of application users,” said Melvin.
