New Funding Pocket, Lemonilo Develops Technology and Adds Product Variants

Funding provided by Alpha JWC Ventures and Unifam Capital

Lemonilo, an e-commerce platform that focuses on organic (natural) foods and other healthy foods to support healthy lifestyles, announced the acquisition of new funding from Alpha JWC Ventures and Unifam Capital.

It is not stated how much the investment value is given, but the CEO and Co-Founder Lemonilo Shinta Nurfauzia to DailySocial said the fresh funds will be used to improve customer experience on the platform and add new products.

"We have finalized this funding since last July. In addition to developing platform technology on the site and application later, we also intend to add CPG (Clinical Practice Guidelines) products," said Shinta.

Curated healthy products

Currently, Lemonilo has 10 CPG products, including natural fried noodles and natural delicacy broth. In particular, Lemonilo presents curated products from healthy ingredients for customers. Claims to be a service that brings together technology with FMCG companies and prioritizes the M2C (manufacturer-to-consumers) business model.

"Our operations consist of curating, manufacturing and distributing. After curating and ensuring the products we choose are free from ingredients that are categorized as not good for health, we then sell them in a curated marketplace," said Shinta.

Lemonilo also conducts market and data research, the process is carried out so that it can be better scalable associated with products that can increase the volume even higher. To ensure that the product has the best quality, Lemonilo also incubates partners to become part of the Lemonilo brand.

"We do this process after screening exclusive partners who have the potential to form partnerships with Lemonilo from hundreds of registered producers," said Shinta.

Lemonilo was initiated by three people, namely Shinta Nurfauzia, Johannes Ardiant, and Ronald Wijaya. The three of them also played a role in the development of the Consulate service, a service that focuses on the health sector.
