Financial Listing Platform "Sribuu" Pockets Initial Funding

Sribuu financial recording platform (formerly Chatalia/Alia) has received phased funding pre seed from BEENEXT and some angel investors. It was not stated further how much the investment value was received. The fresh funds will be used to develop services and expand the market.

"We hope that Sribuu can improve the financial well-being of many people, especially the younger generation," said Sribuu Co-Founder & CEO Nadia Amalia.

Besides Nadia, Sribuu was also founded by two co-founder others, including Fransisca Susan (CTO) and Fadhila (COO). This platform comes after previously being presented in a competition during the event fintech pitching at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States.

Nadia Amalia is a graduate of the Master of Finance from MIT. Previously, he worked as a Deutsche Bank. Fransisca Susan is currently pursuing a PhD at MIT focusing on AI technologies.

User growth

In particular, Sribuu helps users to record, manage, and analyze their expenses automatically from their bank accounts and electronic wallets. In addition, the service develops personalized recommendations with AI technology for each of its users.

Since the beta period of 8 months ago, the company recorded a user growth of up to 36x. As of September 2021, Sribuu has assisted more than 45 users and analyzed transactions worth more than IDR 2,3 trillion.

"Now we witness the next cycle of founders building companies fintech next generation in Indonesia. Sribuu's founding team is passionate about improving financial health for millions of Indonesians," said BEENEXT Partner Faiz Rahman.

Platforms similar to Sribuu which have launched in Indonesia are Moni. Similar to Sribuu, Moni wants to solve the problems faced by 60 million young people and the middle class in Indonesia in terms of personal financial management.

Apart from Sirbuu and Moni as newcomers to financial recording applications, previously there were also several other players who offered the same capabilities.
