Nutrition Consulting Platform Sirka.io Soon Completes Advanced Fundraising

Departing from the personal experience of the two founders, Rifanditto Adhikara and Vincentius Dito Krista Holanda when they had to deal with chronic disease problems that their parents had, the health platform sirka.io launched. This service functions to monitor and prevent disease through an integrated consultation program with nutritionists on a regular basis online.

To DailySocial.id, Rifanditto as CEO said that through the Sirka.io platform, it is hoped that it will be able to democratize quality online nutrition and nutrition consulting services, focusing on chronic prevention program.

"Currently, there are many services that offer consultation on diet programs or recommendations for the right nutrition for those who have diseases such as hypertension to diabetes on a regular basis offline. Through Sirka.io we want to bridge the needs of many people to this problem online while helping nutritionists and nutritionists in Indonesia to get a better career path."

Since its launch in April this year, Sirka.io has had user growth of up to 60% every month. The service can already be accessed via Android devices and will soon follow on the iOS operating system in the near future. They have also served in 32 cities with a total of 10 nutritionists and nutritionists.

To align the company's mission and vision, Sirka.io does not recruit partners, but directly hires nutritionists and nutritionists as employees. According to them, this method is more efficient for the company now and in the future.

After securing seed funding from Sequoia Capital, Y Combinator, and former Sequoia partner Tim Lee earlier this year, Sirka.io is currently in the process of finalizing a new fundraiser that is scheduled to be announced in early 2022.

How much it costs to build technology and recruit a team engineer, making the company need fresh funds to accelerate growth. Funds that have been received previously, are mostly used by the company to develop products, recruit a team of engineers and the rest for marketing activities.

"As a new player, we don't want to do massive marketing activities. Our current focus is on developing technology with the aim of making it easier for users to access our services," said Rifanditto.

Asked who Sirka.io's competitors are at this time, Rifanditto revealed that until now there have been no local or foreign players who have excelled in offering services like Sirka.io in Indonesia. However, now there are local players who offer services similar to Sirka.io, as well as foreign players from India who plan to enter the Indonesian market in the near future.

"The next target of Sirka.io is that apart from increasing the number of users, we also want to continue to present new features that can be useful for Sirka.io users," said Rifanditto.
