Get to know PickMe-style shuttle transportation services

Started in Semarang, now starting to operate in other big cities

Carrying a transportation-like concept on demand, PickMe specifically serves people who need pick-up and drop-off services, both for school and work with a subscription concept. This startup from Semarang focuses on providing convenience and comfort for those who need shuttle services.

PickMe is conceptually like an online transportation service with a subscription concept. It is hoped that this method can help users in need and at the same time increase the income of driver-partners.

In the first quarter of 2019, PickMe claims to have operated in five major cities on the island of Java, including Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Semarang and Yogyakarta. With a total of 500 driver partners. The target is that by the end of this year they can be present in 27 provincial capitals in Indonesia with a total of driver reached 5.000 people.

PickMe was initiated by Susanto Wibowo and Simon Surianto. Doing business with bootstrap, they are quite optimistic to be able to continue to grow while opening up opportunities for investors to join.

Users who use PickMe to pick up school children first will make an appointment with driver to meet at the home of parents and children. Furthermore, the user can determine whether to continue subscribing with driver it or not.

To ensure convenience, PickMe has a policy of every driver to pick up school children are women who are left behind and have families in the local city. Currently, there are two types of services offered by PickMe, the first is a school pick-up package (PickMe School) and a pick-up for professionals or office workers (PickMe Pro).

"PickMe made to answer the government's problem in overcoming congestion in big cities. During working hours and school hours, all the roads are jammed because everyone uses their own vehicle. PickMe was created with the concept that mothers who are now taking their children to school on their own can use their cars to take other children along with their children's schools, mother's activities continue and mothers get extra pocket money every month," said PickMe Co-Founder Simon. Surianto.
