PHI-Integration Data Analytics and Management Services Get Initial Funding from East Ventures and Skystar Capital

Software company that provides data analysis and management services PHI-Integration today (31/5) announced the acquisition of early-stage funding from East Ventures and Skystar Capital. The amount of funding obtained is not stated. This funding will be focused on accelerating the vision data-driven owned by the company.

Since its establishment in 2015, PHI-Integration providing business consulting and data warehouse services. Some of his clients come from corporate and government circles in Indonesia. Together with the new funding obtained, PHI-Integration also presents a new sub-service called Linkr, complementing the flagship product previously owned by DataQualitix. The service is claimed to be able to help companies improve their data structure.

"For PHI-Integration, having high-quality data and a system for managing good data is an important foundation in any company's digital transformation strategy. We believe that clean data will encourage companies to achieve much better business analysis, utilization machine learning optimized, and better artificial intelligence. Most importantly, good data can help sharpen and accelerate business decision making," said Victor Gunawan, Co-Founder of PHI-Integration.

In early 2018, PHI-Integration conducted internal research and found that 8 out of 10 companies in Indonesia understand that poorly curated data – or commonly referred to as dirty data—is a major bottleneck for the company and very time-consuming and costly to process. But they still haven't found the right and quick solution to deal with the problem.

"Through several dedicated partners that we have appointed, Linkr is ready to help any data-driven company face the most difficult, intense, repetitive and time-consuming challenges, namely cleaning dirty data and finding duplicate data," added Viktor.

After this funding, PHI-Integration also announced a collaboration with Skystar Ventures, a technology incubator program from Multimedia Nusantara University. The collaboration formed DQLab, a data-based and immersive online education platform. The platform aims to address the root cause of the lack of data literacy, including studying methodology and data analysis. DQLab has a wide range of curriculum materials from basic data management and data science, to artificial intelligence and blockchain.

"The name DQLab arises from our observation of how the traditional workforce is measured only by IQ and EQ indicators. However, we believe there will be a third important factor that one should have in this 4th industrial revolution. That is Data Quotient, where one must have a deep understanding of data, that's why we call this project DQLab," said Feris Thia, Co-Founder of PHI-Integration.
