Strengthening the Digitalization Initiative for the World of Education, Introducing Collaboration with Banking

Presenting new features including collaboration with Bank Mega Syariah through the "Eduberkah" program

Digitalization in the world of education has become a serious problem whose development has always received attention from various circles of society. Especially in the conditions of a pandemic that has entered its second year, the world of education forced to transform digitally to be able to adapt to the current situation.

Of course, building digitalization of educational services is not an easy matter, it takes awareness, desire and a strong commitment from the side of the educational institution itself as well as from the side of the human resources involved in it. In addition, this effort requires a fairly high cost and is very complex in the process starting from the process of design, development, socialization, and system implementation.

Some educational institutions have taken steps to use application platforms to help manage education services, but this does not mean that it is without challenges. By using third-party platforms, educational institutions must follow applicable rules and systems and often do not provide integration and personalization options.

paint As one of the players in this sector, we realize that the two obstacles above can be the key to the success of digital transformation in the world of education. This platform, which provides administrative and management system solutions for SaaS-based educational institutions, tries to strengthen initiatives from various sides, one of which is financial.

Collaboration with banking

At the beginning of September 2021, Pintro officially collaborated with Bank Mega Syariah to realize its commitment to provide education digitization solutions through the "EduBerkah" program. Not just providing credit for the development of physical education infrastructure, banks that initially only dealt with the payment system were expected to provide cost subsidies for the development needs of digital transformation.

On the other hand, the market segment for educational institutions, especially those based on religion, is very wide in Indonesia. Pintro sees collaboration with Bank Mega Syariah with a consistent focus on facilitating the digitization process and maximizing existing potential.

The various advantages of this EduBerkah service will later be launched starting from registration transactions, payment processing online with system multi-channel connected automatically to academic systems, distance learning, online tests, scoring system, special transcripts, to other service systems.

The “EduBerkah” program also provides free training on educational service features that will be used. With the support of the integrated management system, it is hoped that educational institutions can keep up with the pace of technological growth and experience various conveniences in daily educational activities. The Eduberkah service itself can be accessed 24/7 with a super easy implementation and has been integrated & automated.

It was also stated in the release that later the collaboration that was built would not only integrate the education system with the banking system, but was also expected to integrate with 30 business units under CT Corp which are engaged in retail, E-commerce and hospitality others nationally.

As part of Pintro's vision to continue to be able to make sustainable innovations, especially in the education sector, in the future, his team expressed a desire to explore outside the education management system. CT Corp as the parent of Bank Mega Syariah with a variety of services offered, is expected to make it easier for Pintro to integrate education services in the education sector E-commerce, entertainment, tourism/hospitality and others.

One of the targets that was also conveyed was related to the Edumart feature which is currently under discussion for commercial and business schemes. "Hopefully it can be released at the end of this year," said Syarif.

In terms of funding, until now Pintro is still sticking with the system bootstrapping. Syarif said that there were several VCs from within and outside the country who had tried to build relationships, but at that time Pintro had not focused on funding issues.

"Hopefully next year as soon as the internal affairs of the product, organization and business mature, we can prepare better investment proposals in parallel. Fundraising itself is needed to expand the Pintro market nationally," concluded Syarif.
