As an investor, Grace sees that the business category being looked at does not have to be heavy using technology. One of the industries that is starting to become a focus is social commerce and business concept direct to consumers.

"Based on the survey, it was revealed that currently around 40% of the younger generation prefer brands or products that have a D2C concept. These businesses no longer have to have special stores or outlets or focus on technology development," said Grace.

DailySocial noted that the D2C business concept has indeed increased in Indonesia. Most companies in this sector are founded by female founders and offer beauty, fashion and food products.

"Startups from Indonesia are the focus of my investment. Foreign startups can be said to be very easy to get capital from venture capital compared to Indonesian startups," said Grace.
