Collaborating with Investree, Mbiz Presents Access to Financial Services

Having previously been reported to have established a strategic partnership with the service , Mbiz officially announced a partnership with Investree to help suppliers get financing. Mbiz CEO Rizal Paramarta said, Mbiz's focus was to provide financing to suppliers from SMEs to complete projects through the Mbiz platform and Mbizmarket.

"Currently there are still many SME suppliers who find it difficult to meet requests from clients, [..] to become corporate suppliers and enterprise Payment is made after the project is completed. To be able to manage their finances, large funds are needed from suppliers."

Rizal added that the payment terms could affect the acceleration of the business productivity of the companies involved, especially if the time specified did not match expectations or the applicable financial management policies. This situation can occur not only in SME businesses but also large-scale providers and buyers.

According to Investree CEO Adrian Gunadi, this collaboration between Investree and Mbiz is one of the company's strategic sales steps in the form of acquisition channels. The main goal is to support Investree's 2020 growth target. This is one of the company's strategies to reach SME entrepreneurs in other regions throughout Indonesia more efficiently.

"Later everyone borrowers will enjoy the easy loan application process seamless pattern by utilizing the technology integration between Investree and Mbiz. The types of loans offered in this collaboration are Invoice Financing, Pre-Invoice Financing, and Buyer Financing. These three products are included in financing products supply chain leaders di investree, said Adrian.

Although at this time Mbiz has introduced a platform marketplace which targets SME consumers named Mbizmarket, this financing can also be used by companies in the Mbiz ecosystem.

Asked whether Mbiz plans to expand partnerships with financial institutions or other fintech lending services, Rizal emphasized that their current focus is to see the development of strategic cooperation with Investree first. However, if there are related parties who want to collaborate with Mbiz, it is possible that there will be other strategic collaborations.

Previously, Mbiz has also presented services lease cooperated with Tokyo Century Corporation, the largest finance company in Japan.

Overall, e-procurement players who use the Mbiz and Mbizmarket platforms are currently claimed to continue to increase. The scale of companies that utilize their platform also varies, ranging from large companies to SMEs. Compared to 2018, this year Mbiz recorded an increase in the number of companies providing goods and services by 60%, while companies buying goods and services increased by 40%.
