Pandemic Pushes Dating App Adoption Change
One of the most significant changes is that "video dating" is gaining widespread acceptance
"The pandemic brought me here" or "what about your quarantine days" are probably the two most common types of greetings we've seen on dating app screens in the past year or so. Away from the hustle and bustle of health issues, the matchmaking business is booming due to the pandemic.
Everything changed when the epidemic hit as prolonged as it is now. Isolating yourself without friends and losing the opportunity to reach intimacy because you are forced to limit yourself from interacting with someone are two things that are difficult to compromise. The existence of dating apps has never been as important as it is now.
"Today it's hard to deny that 'real life' is both physical and digital. social distancing helps everyone understand what we already know on Tinder that connections formed fully through digital means are just as meaningful as those formed physically," a Tinder Asia Pacific spokesperson told DailySocial.
