Optimizing the Idea Validation Process

A few tips to help validate ideas, before the product actually launches and hits the market

Every product must be developed to be useful for society. But the problem is how much the need for these products is a chore in itself. Not to mention the competition with the same product and in the same market, which existed first. Of course this is a difficult consideration.

Usually, before developing a product, a study of the market and users is something that must be done. In addition, there must also be follow-up that supports the validation of ideas and products. Here are some ways that might be taken to: optimizing validation of ideas by minimizing marketing costs.

Who will sell to?

This question must be asked before we decide to build and develop a product. This may have been written a lot in many business building process tips, but that's what it is. Before the finished product, it must be ascertained to whom the product will be sold. What problems are you trying to solve with the product? All of that must be mixed to become the basic material for product development. Next determine what added value the product brings. What makes it really needed by users.

Understanding users

After successfully finding what kind of users are targeted then how do you position your product. Every business idea has a development background, the next task is to position it with the user's needs so that your product really deserves respect.

Position your product as a solution that gets to the heart of the problem the user is facing. No matter how intensively you promote, how hard you try to get users to buy your product if they don't need it, they will not look at your product. At best they might try, then never come back.

Use "cold email" to generate sales conversation

After knowing where you put your product position, the next strategy that can be taken is to use cold e-mail. This strategy is used to identify and capture your early adopters. Of course with strategy.

You can experiment with using email to some of your potential customers. Create by random and try using different email scenarios and variations. For example in the first email sent to user group A use the email scenario that your product has feature X. Do the same for user group B and with the scenario introduce the other features of your product. This can be a weapon to test the extent to which the product is received and what features are recounts with your potential users.

Do review on the results and keep on improvising

Test, review, improve is the basic rule to keep the business growing. One of the obligations that must be carried out by businesses in the beginning. Test and review used to determine the extent of the success of the previous strategy. To improvise, very obviously, to seek and find the best way to understand users and provide them with the best products.
