Click-Eat Online Food Delivery Get Funded From Yume no Machi

It seems worth saying that the food delivery business is a promising business, especially for professionals in Jakarta. Jakarta's congestion is one of the factors that makes the food delivery business grow more rapidly, and one of the players that has dominated so far is Click eat. Recently, this online food ordering & delivery service received funding from Yume no Machi, a Japan's largest online food delivery company.

By staying focused on the professional market and office employees, Klik-eat currently only serves office areas, especially in Central and South Jakarta. Michael Saputra, CEO of Klik-eat said that this funding process will really help them to spread their wings by slowly entering areas that previously they had not been able to serve. Klik-eat itself, in one day can serve hundreds of orders, 15.000 orders they have served since they first operated.

"Indonesia as the fourth largest country in the world and home to 240 million people, has tremendous potential for the food delivery business. With a fairly stable economic development, consumer purchasing power and internet infrastructure, Indonesia is one of the most attractive markets in Asia. Southeast", said a representative for Yume no Machi in a press release sent to Dailysocial.

Yume no Machi Souzou Iinkai itself is a company that has gone public in Japan, operating since 1999. Its main service, Demae-can is the largest food ordering service in Japan. With over 11.000 restaurants in their database, Yume no Machi is one of the largest online food ordering companies in the world.

As part of the investment process, Yume no Machi CEO Rie Nakamura and Masateru Kaneko (Financial Manager) will join Klik-eat's board of directors and commissioners. The founders of Klik-eat, Michael Saputra, Andrew Pangestan and Willy Haryanto will continue to lead Klik-eat to become the largest online food ordering service in Indonesia.

One of Klik-eat's competitors in Jakarta is FoodPanda, which is backed by a German internet company, Rocket Internet. So far, I've seen more Klik-eat courier motorbikes roaming office buildings in Jakarta than FoodPanda couriers, which can only mean good things for Klik-eat.
