Two years later, OLX is back with a new face
Monthly transactions on OLX have reached 49 trillion Rupiah
OLX Indonesia has launched a new design for their platform, including a new company logo. This is the second time buying and selling sites appear with a new face in the last two years.

In addition to the new face of their app and website, OLX brings a number of new features to its users. These include the option to hide phone numbers for sellers, voice chat to facilitate seller-buyer conversations, to increase product photo slots to 20 pieces.
The appearance and a number of new features have actually been rolling out to users gradually since last August 2019.
"We also require prospective buyers to log in before using the feature chat” said OLX Indonesia Director of Growth & Partnership Agung Iskandar.
GMV reaches 49 trillion Rupiah
Operated since 2007, OLX formerly known as Good store it now has around 3,9 million new ads per month, 700 thousand sellers, 3,6 million active buyers, and an average of 20 million visitors per month. Agung emphasized that their platform is still a reference for private sellers, to sell used goods that are no longer used.
Electronic, automotive, and property products are still the three favorite categories at OLX. Agung also confidently said that their Gross Merhandise Value (GMV) had reached 49 trillion Rupiah per month. The property category contributed 29 trillion Rupiah of this achievement.
"In a month, the transaction value on OLX is around 49 trillion Rupiah, that's the combined result of all categories," said Agung.
Consider digital payment options
OLX admits that they do not have a target number for their business. They claim to use customer satisfaction as an indicator of success.
One of the plans is to increase customer satisfaction by presenting digital payment features. Agung admitted that his party was considering it. However, a number of reasons make them not want to rush to decide whether to immediately bring digital payment options or not.
"We are currently studying deeper into the user us whether it's something necessary or just nice to have just. Because we know the biggest difference is that we (sell) used goods. Second, our goods are of great value, such as cars, property, and furniture," Agung explained.
However, Agung said that his party was still carrying out a number of studies so he could not confirm when the digital payment option could be implemented on their platform.
Since its establishment in 2006, OLX is known as the largest classifieds platform in Indonesia. This new look is the second time OLX has done this in the last two years. This new look includes a new logo, a new interface, and a number of new features.
