Ohdio Creates More "Spin Off" Sites and Opens Business Collaboration Opportunities

Ohdio for Business invites brands and agencies to advertise on local music streaming services

Ohdio announces the presence of three sites spin-off new, song70s, song80sand song90s. These three sites complete Mellow-sad song and Musicforever who came first. They also open up opportunities for brand and agency to work together through Ohdio for Business.

As quoted from the press release, the presence of a number of spin-off For Ohdio, this is a sign of appreciation for Indonesian music from time to time. These sites are claimed to represent Ohdio's presentation of Indonesian songs on the Internet, with a focus on curation. Like Lagugalau, there is only a Mute button that turns off the sound and song lovers cannot change the playlist.

Co-Founder Ohdio Ario Tamat told DailySocial, "The strategy of websites spin-off This, apart from (as) an effort to contribute something else to the Indonesian music industry, we also want to show that Ohdio.FM is primarily a technology company."

Through five spin-off and one parent site, Ohdio is confident enough to start its business model. On the Ohdio for Business page, they offer a number of ways to advertise across Ohdio properties. The idea offered is that advertising through a music marketing platform provides the potential for a higher audience reach at a lower cost than using an artist as a brand ambassador, sponsoring an album, or sponsoring a concert.

The issue of monetization for music streaming services is an important one. Guvera, which has an office in Indonesia, recently admitted that the majority (>90%) of its listeners are consumers who enjoy free music. To finance operations and pay royalties, they are aiming for brand and agency with concept native ads Branded Channels.
