Nodeflux Joins East Ventures Investment Portfolio

It is hoped that it will help strengthen business and expand cooperation

Aims to accelerate the mission of improving business through research and product-based development computer vision and deep learning, today (06/5) Nodeflux announced that it has officially joined the investment portfolio of East Ventures​. No specific information was provided regarding the funding provided. Previously Nodeflux has also received initial funding from platform developer smart city Qlue.

East Ventures, which focuses on early-stage startup funding, welcomes the entry nodeflux in their portfolio. Intelligent video analytics which can be implemented in various sources, be it CCTV, webcam, telephone, camera, and so on, in the future it is considered to have great potential.

"Indonesia's Internet population generates enormous data and requires a brain to manage the information and extract their value. Nodeflux managed to do it. They organize and extract information from images and videos, then train machines to be able to solve cross-cutting problems. We are very pleased to be able to support Meidy and his team to make AI technology in Indonesia able to develop and be applied," said Managing Partner East Ventures, Willson Cuaca.

Increase partnerships with government and business

Furthermore, Nodeflux will deepen technology as well as add partnerships with business to government. Among them were with the governments of several big cities, which emphasized the concept of smart city, such as Jakarta and Bandung, to prove their technology on CCTV throughout the city. In addition, Nodeflux is also working with the Indonesian National Police Agency to improve the police operational system.

"Early on when we built Nodeflux, we saw that intelligent video analytics can solve various problems in society. We believe this approach will greatly change the way clients monitor, measure, and understand their surroundings," said Nodeflux CEO Meidy Fitranto.

Nodeflux is also the first Indonesian company to join the Nvidia Inception Program from Nvidia, the world's leading GPU manufacturer. Nodeflux has the advantage of learning this technology early, getting to market first and having great support from Nvidia in developing technologies capable of meeting the latest demands from clients.

Nvidia and Nodeflux are currently in the process of further enhancing their partnership to provide more flexibility and help Nodeflux reach global markets.

More than that, we can proudly say that Nodeflux, a product we developed ourselves, is able to compete strongly with foreign technology companies from Japan, Israel, Singapore, China, and others in the Indonesian market in terms of technological advancements," said Meidy.
