MyRepublic Enters Indonesian Internet Service Provider Market

Provide Internet and Cable TV packages with speeds up to 100 Mbps at a price of "only" IDR 299 thousand per month

MyRepublic, which became the idol of Internet service providers in Singapore, is now reaching neighboring countries by launching its services in Indonesia. First reported e27, on its website which is already available in Indonesian MyRepublic claims to be available in a number of provinces, although only in a few cities. The prices offered tend to be fantastic when compared to competitor services.

MyRepublic itself has shocked the neighboring country of Singapore because it provides Internet services at affordable prices. He brought this spirit by presenting fiber-based Internet packages in DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, Central Java, East Java, and South Sumatra, although they are only available in several cities in the province. You can check the availability of the service coverage at this page.

Call it the Nova package which is offered by MyRepublic. Price offered for bandwidth downloads up to 100 Mbps for only IDR 299 thousand per month. First Media or IndiHome for the same speed claim offer higher fees. The most expensive package offered by MyRepublic, Supernova, offers download bandwidth of up to 300 Mbps at a cost of IDR 899 thousand per month.

MyRepublic's move to expand into Indonesia is certainly not surprising. Previously, the Sinarmas Group had invested Rp 40 billion through its subsidiary DSSA to MyRepublic. Besides Indonesia, MyRepublic is also available in New Zealand. We are waiting for the response of Indonesian ISPs to the presence of this new "nuisance" from a neighboring country.
