MHomecare's "Personal Homecare" Service Bridges the Need and Supply of Health Workers

The current number of nursing graduates is not accompanied by job opportunities and welfare for them. According to data from the Head of BNP2TKI, the growth of nursing graduates in Indonesia annually reaches more than 26 thousand people, on the contrary the growth of employment (in this case health care facilities) is far below that.

This causes oversupply health workers in Indonesia, even though the need is very significant.

MHomecare was established to try to bridge public demand to the nurse network. To DailySocial, CEO of MHomecare Angga Pramana Jaya said, MHomecare was here to overcome the problems that really occurred in NTB at that time.

MHomecare is a digital-based health application that connects licensed health workers and patients. Health workers (nurses, midwives, and caregiver) who are members of this service can receive training provided by MHomecare Provider Academy to develop soft skill and hard skills them, including service standardization.

Currently, the total number of health workers who have passed the training has reached 672 consisting of nurses, midwives and nurses caregiver.

MHomecare can be ordered through the website or through an application on the Android platform. This platform has daily, weekly, or monthly services for assisting infants, the elderly, and the sick.

For monetization strategy, MHomecare gets fee by 20%-30% of health workers. Health worker partners can work flexible hours and unlimited income. MHomecare is said to have collaborated with several government agencies, national products and communities.

After being the winner of the Indonesia-Korea Startup Demo Day 2019 event some time ago, MHomecare has several plans and targets to be achieved, including wanting to become a professional, easy, and transparent health service platform.

Besides MHomecare, a number of startups are also targeting the same market, for example Homecare24, Medical Personnel, Nursing Roomand myNurz.
