Take advantage of the OVO E-Money License, GrabPay Back Active

Grab take advantage of the e-money license that has been pocketed by OVO to reactivate payment services GrabPay. This service is officially available as of yesterday (14/12), after being temporarily frozen by the central bank since October 16 2017.

"Starting today, passenger Grab can fill GrabPay their Credits and use GrabPay," said the Managing Director GrabPay Southeast Asia Jason Thompson, quoted from Dataword.

Back GrabPay is inseparable from collaboration between companies under the auspices of the Lippo Group. OVO has obtained a Bank Indonesia e-money license since August 22 2017 under the legal entity name PT Visionet International. Before collaborating with OVO, Grab also helps with the logistics of shipping goods for MatahariMall.

By being active again GrabPay (with new branding 'GrabPay, powered by OVO'), users Grab can now do top up in many ways. Starting from driver partners, convenience stores, local banks and ATMs, to debit cards.

In addition to providing online payment options, Grab and OVO will work together to utilize the technology and network of their respective partners to develop a convenient and secure mobile payment platform according to consumer needs.

OVO can not only be used for various kinds of financial transactions, such as payments at merchants, top-ups, balance checks. Also provides a loyalty program for every transaction at partner merchants.
