Mamikos' determination to keep growing during the pandemic, rolls out a number of new features

There are several sectors that are currently under pressure due to the pandemic. Property is definitely one of them. Mamikos as one of the startups engaged in the property technology did not stay still.

The ongoing pandemic in a fairly long period of time is bad news for boarding house owners. Some of the tenants chose to return to their respective homes, some were forced to survive because they still had to carry out their normal activities.

Mamikos certainly aware of this. That's why they put out a number of initiatives. One of the most obvious is setting a discounted price for a number of selected rooms. There are quite a number of promotions on the application, ranging from incentives for those who survive to room prices that are priced lower than usual. One of the most prominent is the discount on room rates of up to Rp. 1,5 million for payment of room rent for the next six months.

This effort is a reflection of Mamikos to survive and maintain its status as one of the leaders. "This condition is certainly a challenge for Mamikos so that it can survive and develop and continue to be the number one boarding application in Indonesia," wrote Mamikos Founder & CEO Maria Regina Anggit.

Innovation as strength

Take MamiPay for example. This feature is a billing system developed by Mamikos itself. Last year this feature was still under development. However, MamiPay has now become Mamikos' official billing management. Through MamiPay, boarding house residents can pay their bills via bank transfer, credit card, Gopay, Ovo, Dana, LinkAja, Alfamart, and Indomaret.

MamiPay also helps the boarding house owner to remember the billing schedule to the tenant to record partners to make it easier for boarding house owners to manage their finances.

Another feature that is considered the newest is Mamikos Goldplus. This feature is a variety of solutions offered by Mamikos for boarding house owners, starting from maximizing occupancy, boarding house maintenance, disinfecting services, to consulting services. The service fee for this solution is taken by quoting fees from payment transactions from boarding tenants.

Meanwhile, MamiRooms, which is a room standardization service to increase property selling value, has now changed its name to SinggahSini. This service is already spread in Greater Jakarta, Bandung & Jatinangor, Solo, Yogyakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, and Malang.

"Innovation efforts in the form of these features are realized so that Mamikos Partners and boarding house seekers are always connected digitally by utilizing technology. Especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, these features can be utilized by Mamikos Partners in managing boarding properties and boarding house seekers in finding boarding houses. a comfortable dream," said Anggit.

Determined to keep growing

The pandemic does not seem to be a reason for Mamikos to continue to grow. Mamikos balances this ambition by inviting its partners to continue implementing health protocols ranging from spraying disinfectants, using masks, and hand sanitizers.

Now Mamikos has spread across 140 cities in Indonesia which not only offers boarding rooms but also apartments. They target that by the end of this year Mamikos services can reach boarding house owners outside Java and other small cities. Currently, Mamikos already has more than 2 million users and 110 thousand boarding house owners.
