Easier for Companies to Manage Employee Benefits, Mekari Launches Flex

Mekari as a developer of SaaS products for SMEs and mid-enterprise presents a new product that can help businesses manage employee benefits flexibly. Named Mekari Flex, the new product is expected to be used by companies to digitize processes that were previously done manually. On the other hand, employees can also monitor and access this information in the application.

Mekari Flex is a digital platform that is integrated with the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), enabling various types of companies to manage benefits more flexible employees without incurring large costs. Usually the process of finding and negotiating vendor partners is an administrative step that is quite time-consuming so most HR works with third parties to take care of this at a large additional cost.

"With the automation presented by Mekari Flex, we are trying to answer these problems and present a platform that allows all types of companies to implement benefits that is flexible easily, without big costs, and provides maximum benefits for employees.” said Mekari Co-Founder & CEO Suwandi Soh.

In order to use the Mekari Flex platform, the company must be registered at Talent first.

Monetization strategies and categories

Asked what kind of company Mekari is aiming for to use Mekari Flex, SVP CEO Office of Mekari Arvy Egadipoera revealed that by design Mekari Flex is flexible, so it can be customized by each company.

There are 4 categories which are then offered by Mekari Flex to companies, including: protection, wellness, lifestyle, and commute. For each category, Mekari Flex has collaborated with several vendors. Starting from insurance companies, services groceries, to health and beauty services.

In the future, Mekari Flex will continue to add partnerships with vendors. Currently there are about 30 partners with more than 80 product offerings. Monetization of models based on commercial agreements with businesses and subscription fees from the platform itself.

"For companies that have previously collaborated with other vendors, it can also be adjusted later and included in Mekari Flex. Thus, it can increase the choice of vendors in Mekari Flex as well," said Arvy.

Since the launch of Mekari Flex, it has received a positive response from the company, especially the HR division, because this platform is claimed to be able to help them solve administrative problems and records that are still manual.
