Collaboration with BNI, Lyfe Watch can be used for payment transactions

Lyfe, a startup that is included in the health segment, announced its collaboration with BNI. The two parties collaborated to present a Lyfe Watch smartwatch equipped with payment technology.

With the support of Tapcash, the smartwatch from Lyfe will be able to make non-cash transactions, starting from paying for MRT tickets, TransJakarta buses, parking at Gelora Bung Karno, shopping at mini markets that have collaborated and also BNI merchants who have accepted TapCash payments. To monitor and top up balances, users can use the TapCash Go application.

Included in the ranks of Lyfe's Co-Founders are Oscar Darmawan (Indodax) and the founders of Tiket.com, namely Gaery Undarsa, Wenas Agusetiawan, and Dimas Surya Yaputra.

"We present Lyfe Watch with the aim of supporting a healthy lifestyle for the Indonesian people. The collaboration with BNI also adds to the Watch function as a payment tool that makes people's activities easier and more practical," said Lyfe CEO Indra Darmawan as quoted by Antara. quoted from Berita Satu.

With this collaboration, the Lyfe Watch smartwatch will not only work as a device to support a healthy lifestyle such as a step counter, heart rate and blood pressure meter, and a wasted calorie meter, but also a wallet replacement device because of its ability to make non-cash transactions.

Lyfe Watch will also be able to connect with Lyfe App via bluetooth. With this integration, users can easily monitor achievements (related to measurements on Lyfe Watch) and body condition. The Lyfe App also allows users to take on various daily healthy activity challenges and earn rewards for each completed challenge.

Lyfe Watch itself will be released at the end of July. For now, Lyfe is also opening a special page for pre-orders for this smartwatch.
