Lightspeed Announces 7,5 Trillion Rupiah Managed Funds for Startups in Southeast Asia and India

In Indonesia, Lightspeed has invested in Pintu, Astro, Shipper, Chilibeli and Ula

Lightspeed India Partners announces early stage managed fund (early stage) LSIP Fund IV of $500 million or around 7,5 trillion Rupiah. These funds will be used to continue its investment in India and Southeast Asia.

In an official statement, the fundraiser reflects a deep commitment to the Indian and Southeast Asian markets since their first investment in 2007.

Lightspeed Venture Partners has invested in China, India, Israel, Europe and Southeast Asia. Its total portfolio reaches more than 500 in various sectors, such as consumer, healthtech, and fintech.

In Indonesia, Lightspeed has invested in Pintu, Astro, Shipper, Chilibeli, and Ula.

Meanwhile, about a quarter of its total global portfolio has been acquired or go public with 33 IPOs in recent years. Lightspeed also has 70 investors located in 12 cities in the world.
