Cooperating with Housewives, LaundryTaxi Presents "Laundry On-Demand" Service

Having plans to serve the entire Jabodetabek area, LaundryTaxi currently only has three merchants in the Cipondoh, Poris, Green Lake Tangerang and surrounding areas. While the number of active LaundryTaxi users is 80 people.

"The standard price for scrubbing services is IDR 6.000/kg. We will give IDR 3.500/kg for merchant, Rp1.500/kg for courier services, and Rp1.000 for LaundryTaxi commissions," said Yulianto.

Customers who want to use LaundryTaxi services can access directly on the site. With an easy process without having to register first, just fill in your name, phone number, and location pick-up, customers can start ordering LaundryTaxi services.

"Later on, our courier will immediately pick up the clothes and weigh them directly at the customer's place. Then the courier will send the clothes to merchant nearest to work immediately. Within two days the clean clothes are ready to be delivered back by courier to the customer's place," said Yulianto.

Currently there is a service laundry on demand operating in the Jakarta area. In general, they offer a shuttle process with a choice of medium to premium prices. The quality of the laundry can also be adjusted according to customer needs. Among them Taptopic and KliknClin.

Running a business bootstrap

LaundryTaxi has not done any fundraising, the business is run entirely using the income earned from commissions from every transaction made. However, to accelerate growth, LaundryTaxi plans to immediately carry out fundraising.

Until the end of 2018, LaundryTaxi has a target to be achieved, including getting 200 merchant in the Jabodetabek area, launched more massive marketing activities such as providing promos to acquire more new customers.

"LaundryTaxi has advantages, including more scalable to search open a branch and add merchant, because there are so many housewives who want to earn their own income at home. And from the business side, LaundryTaxi can be more efficient in terms of operations, because all service work laundry done by merchant, said Muhammad.
