DSInnovate Report: Digital Bank in Indonesia 2021

Explore concepts, ecosystems, case studies, to the experience of digital bank users in Indonesia

2021 will be an important milestone for the financial industry. Several digital bank-based initiatives emerged, both from legacy players and new digital businesses. The goal is to provide comprehensive financial services that are more accessible, integrated with the digital ecosystem, and personalized.

This report presents some interesting data. For example, about how digital banking companies were born, both from the financial and non-financial industries. It is also noted about the size of the digital banking market, globally its value is estimated to have reached $12,1 billion in 2020 and will grow to $30,1 billion in 2026 with a CAGR of 15.7%. Meanwhile, in Indonesia, there are currently 12 digital bank applications that can be used by the public.
