Cooperation with Kadin, Investree Strengthens its Presence in Central Java

After expansion to Vietnam by launching sharia financing after receiving a letter from the OJK, the company peer-to-peer lending Investree has begun to establish its presence in Central Java by establishing a special partnership with the local Kadin.

This form of collaboration is aimed at the prospect of technology-based lending and borrowing services for users peer-to-peer lending provided investree, especially for MSMEs. Through this collaboration, later members, partners or affiliates of Central Java Kadin can become part of Investree as a member of Investree business borrowers or personal borrowers.

Issues related to MSME loans in Central Java, every time they need additional capital, entrepreneurs must first provide guarantees to get easy access to finance at conventional financial institutions.

Investree's Co-Founder and CEO Adrian Gunadi said that with this strategic collaboration, Investree was increasingly encouraged to intensify service coverage in Central Java, in order to improve cash flow and achieve shared financial goals.

“From our side, very grateful for our existence as peer-to-peer lending can be received positively, Investree feels honored after being trusted by the Central Java Chamber of Commerce to achieve common goals, as well as empowering MSMEs in Central Java for the creation of financial inclusion,'' he added.

The contribution of MSMEs to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased to 60,34 percent in the last five years. Therefore, the general chairman of the Central Java Chamber of Commerce, Suryo Wicaksono expressed optimism with Investree's latest innovation in providing capital for MSMEs which is considered more flexible.

Until the end of August 2017, Investree has disbursed loans of IDR 222 billion for MSMEs with a 17 percent average rate of return and 0 percent for non-performing loans claimed to be non-existent.

Thus, the target of this collaboration can be calculated according to the plan or have the same vision and mission. Investree was able to achieve its target more than last year to reach more than 626 SMEs. Likewise, SMEs receive easy, safe and fast services without complicated procedures.
