Karir.com Immediately Embed "Online Interview" Feature

The end of December plans to launch an online interview feature, next year will present a service that allows companies to conduct interviews in "real time"

Yesterday (14/12) Karir.com, one of the pioneers of job search portals in Indonesia, announced update one of its superior features, namely: Salary Benchmarks. In addition, Karir.com CEO Dino Martin also revealed some of Karir.com's achievements in 2016 and also Karir.com's plans to move forward in 2017. One of them is to provide services online interviews to make it easier for companies to interview prospective employees, whether in the form of recordings or real-time.

Karir.com Achievements in 2016

Karir.com is one of the pioneers of Indonesian companies engaged in job search services. Operating in the late 90's, now Karir.com itself operates under the EMTEK Group banner after officially acquired in 2015. Many changes and achievements have occurred after the transition period, especially throughout 2016.

Karir.com CEO Dino Martin revealed to DailySocial that now the traffic of Karir.com visits has increased considerably compared to when it was just taken over. When it was just taken over by EMTEK, according to Dino, Career's traffic only touched 800.000 visits. However, now the number has risen to above five million visits, which is also accompanied by an increase in Alexa's position, from the 1700s to the 400s.

From the side which is great for job seekers, Dino claims that the figure has moved from 1,1 million to almost 2 million in the space of one year. Whereas for the company also increased by around 12 thousand throughout 2016.

Dino said, “We also [already integrated] a lot online tools that can be used by job seekers. For example, there is the Aptitude Test, the English Test, and next year we [plan to] have a general intelligence test, which is similar to the IQ test. It online also."

In addition to being used by job seekers, according to Dino, the test can also be used by companies to test the competence of prospective employees.

2017 plans

Besides embedding new tests, Dino also revealed some development plans platform Karir.com to step into 2017. One of the most awaited by Dino and will launch soon is service online interviews. This feature is presented to make it easier for companies to interview prospective employees without having to worry about time.

Dino explained, “This year [end of December 2016] we will also present online interviews. It's recorded. Questions will appear on the phone screen and job seekers just answer them. Once it's done, it's all recorded, the facial expressions can be seen, and the HR person canreview that's whenever he has time. The person being interviewed can also do the interview whenever he has time.”

The presence of this feature, according to Dino, could be a solution for job seekers who live in big cities like Jakarta. In addition to not having to deal with traffic jams, the time for interviews has become more flexible and can be adjusted according to each other's busyness.

Another feature that Dino will reveal is VMeet, Video Interview. This feature is real time and according to Dino, this feature can be a solution for foreign companies that want to enter the Indonesian market to find suitable talent.
