Jala Prepares for Expansion to Thailand Next Year

Already have users in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Ecuador

Jala Tech, a startup aquatech for shrimp farmers, revealed that it is preparing to expand its branch office to Thailand next year. The country is one of the six largest shrimp-producing countries in the world.

Jala CEO Liris Maduningtyas explained that in fact, since last year the company has expanded its business to Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Ecuador. But that's still limited to a business agreement between the company and B2B and B2C clients in the country.

For countries in Southeast Asia, IoT-based Mesh solutions used by shrimp farmers there; while in Ecuador leveraged application analytics solutions from Jala.

These four countries, along with Indonesia, China and India, are among the six largest shrimp-producing countries in the world. Therefore, expansion into these countries is part of the company's business plan as well as explaining why looking there.
